Help Zakk and Ryan on Their Road to Healing
Donation protected
Zakk Spilker and his dad Ryan were in a horrendous car accident. Zakkary was airlifted to Seattle and Ryan was later taken there by ambulance. Zakk has lacerations on his spleen and liver and his right cornea is badly scratched. Ryan has broken ribs and re-broke his femur, which also bent the metal rod that had been placed in his leg years ago. Doctors are monitoring Zakk's internal injuries and Ryan had surgery on his leg. Both are expected to make full recoveries, but their paths to healing will be long and arduous. Ryan will not be able to work for quite some time and Kim, Zakk's mom, will also need to take time off from her job to care for Zakkary. In addition, Ryan, Kim, and Zakk will need to travel to Seattle for monitoring and ongoing doctor visits. This account has been established to help Kim and Ryan with medical and travel expenditures, in addition to bills and daily expenses that they will incur while not working. Zakk, who is turning 11 years old on Saturday, is an amazing young man who is in the 5th grade at Suquamish Elementary School. He has the kindest heart and is well loved by everyone who knows him. Ryan is a member of the Suquamish neighborhood community and is always willing to help others. Now it's our turn to lend a hand to this family.
