Help Serge kick lymphoma to the curb

Last year, our wonderful friends (Claude & Paulette Bellemare) got the news that devastates every family...news that makes you stop cold and try to figure out why the world just flipped over.
News that one of their own has cancer.
Meet Serge (their son). He's 22 and fighting b-cell lymphoma of the brain. He's also hilarious, and kind, and generous, and strong. He's been through a lot through the years and has risen to - and beyond - many challenges. Always with a gorgeous smile and good humour. Always with a hug for his friends and family. Always with a glint in his eye looking for the fun in life.
Last year Serge went through weeks of unexplained nausea, vomiting, headaches, dizziness and weight loss before one of the many tests he went through showed a tumor in his brain. He went through a painful biopsy that led to inconclusive results but confirmed the mass was not benign - it was thought to be a non-operative malignant brain tumor. After the biopsy it appeared to shrink on it's own and then stabilize for several months. This fall though, it got worse again.
Really worse. And really quickly. All of the symptoms came back and Serge lost weight fast - too fast. He couldn't eat much or keep what he was able to eat down, and he started feeling sicker and sicker. COVID made it really hard to get medical care or tests but another MRI scan showed multiple tumors this time - in many different regions of his brain.
Serge was a trooper through another painful biopsy, and this time the results confirmed the type of cancer he's facing: b-cell lymphoma. His medical team is working to determine what his treatment plan will be and if there has been any spread. Everyone close to him is on tenterhooks waiting to find out what is happening and how they can help.
This is how you can help. Really help.
Serge's parents have also been hit hard by all of this and money is tight. Serge is of course their biggest priority and their wages have been impacted by time lost from work for appointments, tests, and the need to be with him while he's sick.
They need to be with their son but they also need to feed their family and pay the bills that continue to come. Expenses are racking up and income is not matching that need. As chemo and other treatments start this will only get tougher.
Paulette and Claude could really use your support to allow them to be with Serge while he fights for his life. He is going to win but he needs our help with the battle.
Please help if you can...it means the world to some of the very best people on it.
