Hi! I'm Lexie, and I'm raising funds for my best friend Chris, who has fallen on hard times.
Chris is magnetic. He is one of those people who you just want to be around — he's charismatic, he's kind, he has a huge heart and he's one of the best people I know.
Unfortunately, Chris has experienced way more than one person should ever have to handle in a lifetime. He was given up for adoption as a baby, was in and out of foster care for many years, was homeless and was eventually taken in by a physically abusive family member. But he went on to change his life for the better, getting his associate's degree and working consistently until recently.
Chris contracted COVID not once but twice, and he has been out of work for some time now. However! He recently had a job offer to start MONDAY (!)...except he has no transportation. Because of all the bills and being out of work, he couldn't pay the car note and although the car is in his driveway, it's "turned off" by the loan company unless Chris ponies up $600 TODAY.
The funds we have raised so far were used to pay some of the bills and medical expenses. Now we need your help to raise the rest for the car so Chris can finally get on his feet and get a job!
The way I see it is like this: Imagine this were your best friend. Wouldn't you do anything possible in your power to help? Wouldn't you want to be there, supporting and encouraging your friend along the way?
I don't want my friend to lose this job opportunity. It could completely change his life.
Thank you for your donations, your prayers, your well wishes and your love. We see you and we appreciate you. Blessings to you on your day.
Love,
Lexie
