Donate to Ariel's Left Eye Surgery & Recovery

My dear friend Ariel is a Black, disabled graduate student, who needs surgery to save the vision in her left eye. The surgery needed are performed in two parts: Vitrectomy and Retinectomy, but it is very expensive and as a unemployed student in the Bay Area, it feels impossible for her to pay. Her health insurance through school won't cover these bills and having no current income due to Covid-19 her options are limited. If you donate to Ariel's surgery you can help her save her  from the incoming debt the surgery bills will leave her with. Recovery is very long and painful process, donating to Ariel will take the stress off of her shoulders and allow her to heal more peacefully and with more ease. 

Ariel is a bay area based creative, she is currently in college working toward an MFA in Writing. She is an essayist and poet, full of so much love and talent. Please donate so that Ariel has the opportunity to finish school and produce art that we'd all love to see.
