MOM AND POP BOOK SHOPPE URGENTLY NEEDS YOUR HELP
A true heart break! It touches our hearts and we hope it does yours also.
Did you know...one of the biggest tragedies in the literary world happened right here in Ventura just a few months ago. One of the largest collections of books. Over 500,000 were destroyed. Literally dumped in the local landfill. These books were collected over a number of decades and held a true value of over $8 million.
Clarey Rudd started a Gofundme to help deal with the damage. The extra load he has been under has kept him from getting the exposure and news out to the community. We are now starting afresh to seek the support he needs.
For 5 decades he has helped our community. Let's show support so we see Bank of Books and Abednego Book Shoppe survive this damage and be able to press forward. An Internationally famous bookstore right here in Ventura that has so much still to offer to our community.
