It’s all Red to Me! 

 

As you will all know, I’m an avid Spurs fan. This season has become very tense battling with Arsenal (urgh) for 4th.

 

Bill Shankly said ‘Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that.' 

As a patron of the U.K. Thalassaemia society, I see the great work that goes into increasing awareness of this rare condition and helping patients lead their life as comfortably as possible, coping with intense treatment throughout.

 

So to increase awareness of this condition further and test Bill’s claim, I will undertake the UKTS fun run in red. Not just any old red, Arsenal red if enough donors ask me to!

 

All I ask in return is you share with friends (and if you want to make a small donation that’s fine too but increasing awareness is our goal). If you want to join us come on down to Grovelands Park on Sunday 8th May at 8.45 am!

 

Come on you Spurs or Reds (sure will make me run faster to finish). We can do this! Tell me how you’d like to see me run!
