Chad’s Funeral Fundraiser

Chad Davis was one of those rare people whose light shone brightly and whose positivity was contagious. A gifted singer, actor, writer, and therapist, Chad moved through the world with kindness, empathy, and generosity. He shared a piece of himself with everybody he came into contact with. Chad adored his family- his parents, twin brother, two sisters, and especially his niece Juliet. Chad was a Jersey boy at heart who loved fitness, the beach, and the sun on each coast, whether it was Fire Island, the Jersey shore, or Palm Springs. Chad wanted to leave the world a better place than he found it, and his work later in his life involved going back to school to become a licensed therapist. Chad thrived working within the LGBTQ community, the African American community, and other marginalized groups- and helping people heal from eating disorders. He was a spiritual person who believed in a higher power and the power of prayer. He was always a welcome presence wherever his heart led him and could mix with all types of people. He could quote from the Bible or his favorite movie “Showgirls”. If he thought something was funny, he’d let you know with an infectious laugh. And Chad found a lot of life funny.

Chad, we hope wherever you are you can hear people remembering your sweetness, sharp intellect, and infinite kindness. We all miss you something terrible.
