Hello to you and your family. Many of you may already know about the tragedy that has been shared throughout social media and the local news. A north Minneapolis mother and her 8 month old baby boy are in critical condition after an attack by the pitbull dog. On Tuesday evening the dog mauled Jorge Emmanuel Feliciano, lacerating his face, foot and breaking his arm as well. Sharon Lopez, his mother, is also suffering with critical mutilations from when she tried to subdue the dog with her own bare hands.
The family will be undergoing pain, distress and hardship. Emotionally, physically and financially this is a difficult kind of suffering that will be panging on their existence. The two have gone under surgery and for many this is already a nerve-wracking experience. To add to this, the stress of any medical cost can be detrimental to anyone’s own well being during these impacting Covid-19 times.
Our family needs help paying for the medical costs that the insurance companies won’t foot the bill for. There are some expenses that are related to the surgeries, there are costs associated with the fathers livelihood as he helps heal them back to wellbeing, as well as costs related to at home after care such as physical therapies and more.
