On Thursday, February 11th, Lena Tarasova tragically lost her battle against COVID-19 at the age of 58. Lena was a vivacious woman and hard working single mother. She brought light into all the lives she touched and is remembered by her many friends. She did everything with her children and grand children in mind, which showed her truly selfless nature.
Lena’s youngest daughter Emily is 19 and about to begin her first year at DePaul University as a pre-law student. As many of you can imagine the pain this pandemic has caused for so many — losing your mother during such a pivotal moment of life is unbearably painful and stressful.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 to help Emily with her school tuition and book costs. Any donation you can make to help us reach this goal for Emily will be appreciated.
