Donation protected
To our dear family and friends,
Our beloved family member and friend, Vicente Velasquez, lost his life battling cancer on Friday, July 8th, 2022, leaving behind his beautiful wife, Sandra Velasquez and two daughters, Isela (14) and Evelyn (10).
My name is Christina Abundis, and I am Vicente Velasquez’s goddaughter. On behalf of our extended family, I am asking all family, friends, and those of you in the extended community for your financial support to help his wife and two daughters during this unimaginable time. All expenses will be put toward the funeral and burial services allowing any left-over donations to go towards their daughters’ futures and education. Anything and everything are appreciated as it will alleviate funeral and burial costs while healing from the loss of their husband and father. Your donation is linked directly to Sandra’s account allowing all funds to automatically be directed to her from GOFUNDME. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
For those of you who did not know, Vicente Velasquez, also known as “Vince”, he was a man of respect, pride, and could always be counted on. For 39 short years he created a legacy. As a young child Vicente was faced with trials and tribulations leading him toward his enlistment in the U.S. Air Force at the young age of 18 years old. He served this country for 20 years with serval overseas assignments including tours to the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. During those 20 blissful years he loved his wife, cherished his children, and made unforgettable memories around the world with family and friends. Vince was an extraordinary husband and father, he lived a beautiful love story with the love of his life, also known as his “mujer”, and dedicated his time to providing his children with the childhood he never had. He grew to love the simple things in life, such as spending time and having fun with his family.
