Lined up for a food truck at the Lapu Lapu festival in Vancouver, Saadiq was struck by the car that tragically ran through the crowd. His friend Ridaa held his body while witnessing everything. The friends they came with, helped him throughout his entire hospital stay.

Suffering from a displaced fractured hip, collapsed lung, huge knee and head gash, head injury, and some internal bleeding, he is trying his best and putting on a brave smile for everyone.
