Gofundme for our dear friend Alisha

On Tuesday April 4, 2023 our dear friend Alisha Cherry was struggling with server chest pain, to the point she felt necessary to bring herself to the local Emergency Department at Royal Inland Hospital. After many hours of testing it was determined she was having a Heart Attack and had developed Myocarditis from a previous Pneumonia infection. Alisha has been in the amazing care of the Royal Inland Doctors and Nurses ever since. Her team assed the situation and acted quickly, ultimately deciding it was best she be sent to Kelowna for an angiogram - once the angiogram was completed the decision was made to place a stent in one of Alisha’s arteries.

As many of you know, this comes as quite a scare to Alisha and her entire family - A moment in time we wish for them to never have to relive. A lot of you hold Alisha near and dear to your hearts, which means you know as well as we do, that she is the first person to offer someone in need a helping hand, often putting others before herself. Our friend is a fighter, she is strong, and she is resilient! But right now she needs all of our support, whether that be a donation, a share on your social pages, a phone call or a message anything helps.

Alisha currently resides with her Boyfriend Axel Isaac, together they co-parent his 3 kids part-time. With this recent news Alisha will have to take 6-weeks away from work to recover and will be limited to what she can do physically. At this time we are looking to support Alisha and Axel through this difficult time by taking away any financial stress they may face over the next 6 weeks.
