GoFundMe for Kevin Ablack

As some of you may already be aware, one of our Bantrel team members, Kevin Ablack, has experienced a pretty heart-wrenching tragedy. Kevin’s father recently passed away, and as his family was preparing a trip to Trinidad for the funeral, Kevin’s son Joshua passed away as well. As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly difficult time for him and his family. Kevin’s son was only 14 years old and had his whole life ahead of him. He was a talented musician and was finishing school and pursuing his dreams of becoming a professional in the music industry. Kevin and his family are devastated by this loss, and they are struggling to come to terms with it.

Kevin is a valued member of our site Field Engineering team and has also spent time working in the Home Office in Mississauga. If you’ve been lucky enough to get to know him, you’ve probably shared a laugh over some dry humour, experienced him brighten up the activities hosted at camp, or had him be the only person in the room to catch an obscure reference you made. However you know him, as a friend, colleague, or just a fellow human being, it’s difficult to imagine what he and his family are going through right now. We can’t take the pain away, but we can show him that we care, and hopefully lessen the load a little. Please join us in supporting Kevin and his family through this trying time, and helping to create a little space for them to heal.

Note on Kevin’s Son:

Some of you may have seen Joshua before, as he was a musician and Kevin readily shared his YouTube videos. Like his father, Joshua lived a life with integrity and principle, always being a champion for anyone who needed it. He was taken from this earth far too soon, but remains in the hearts of everyone who knew him, and will be deeply missed!
