GoFundMary - Comfort After Fire

Hi, we're Lauren and Jill. We'd love to tell you more about our amazing, empowered, bad-ass friend Mary McNelly, but chances are you know her and you're already like, "gosh, she IS amazing" so we're going to tell you about something difficult that happened and ask for your help to bring Mary some comfort and financial fluidity. We know so many of you have very graciously offered help in many ways, so we wanted to set up an easy way to make that happen.

In July, Mary was in the process of moving into her new home when a fire broke out, destroying her garage, car, and impacting the house itself. Most of her personal belongings were lost in the process. She is unable to live in the house currently and is in a bit of insurance limbo before she can make plans to pursue reconstruction.

And of course, Mary is so Mary about it. Since that day, she has focused on her blessings - she has her friends, her pup, her job, her life - and hasn't wanted to ask for any help. So we're doing it on her behalf and with her blessing.

She is an inspiration to us with her strength, her character, her smarts and charm, and so much more. Thank you for providing a little bit of comfort to our favorite girl (and her favorite dog - Sierra loves Mary almost as much as she loves peanut butter!)
