Amoeba the Cat Is Fighting Aggressive Cancer

This tiny and fuzzy and gray, sassy tailed kitty is Amoeba... and she has tumors. Sadly, she has even more tumors than what was originally thought.

In addition to having mammary tumors... they also found a mass in her lung. It's roughly 1/2" in size but, on the plus side, they don't see evidence it has spread yet and her blood work is generally good.

So Amoeba really needs two very expensive treatments for two different types of cancer problems... and I can barely afford the one.

Her mammary tumors are so numerous that they will be removing her entire mammary system in the kitty equivalent of a full mastectomy... but in order to safely do that, it requires two surgeries of its own.

So, really, this tiny and fuzzy and gray, sassy tailed kitty will be needing 3 surgeries in total... all in fairly rapid fire progression for the best outcome. On the plus side, the Oncologists at the Animal Medical Center here in New York City say she should recover fully and enjoy the rest of her life without any cancer induced problems if she receives these surgeries.

All the money from this campaign will go to paying for Amoeba to receive the best care from the Oncology Department at the Animal Medical Center in NYC. Reaching the goal may still not pay for all of what she needs but it will make a sizeable dent in the cost and give her the best chance to continue to be my tiny and fuzzy and gray, sassy tailed companion.

I don't know what I would do without her, especially after the past almost 2 years of social distancing and isolation.
