Salisbury Observer Small Business Fundraiser

The Salisbury Observer  was founded on June 10, 2020 by Michael Eaborn . Despite unfair coverage from local media outlets, the Salisbury Observer reported peaceful protests that were held in Salisbury for the unjust killings of George Floyd and Brianna Taylor. Established as a publication on July 11, 2020, the Salisbury Observer is  a voice for change involves taking action on injustices others dare not act on. As of January 1, 2021, the Salisbury Observer operates as a progressive newspaper.


Mission Statement:
Being a voice of progressive activism, we believe that life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is a human right regardless of sex, race, and/or ethnicity.

Our Work — Be courageous. In a divided community, to take the extra step when others don't. Make a change by reporting local and news happening in Salisbury, North Carolina.


Our Community — Our readers influence our stories with comments that provide us with the motivation and support needed to achieve our goals. They also help us to answer the questions most commonly asked. This gives us the opportunity to provide advice to those who want to make a change.


Our Small Business Fundraising goal is $5000. Funds will go towards hiring freelance writers to help cover Sports, Interviews, etc. to the Salisbury Observer.
