I am reaching out to all of you in my time of need.   I have been in end stage renal failure for over a year and on nightly peritoneal dialysis.   I usually never ask for help as I am always busy helping others, but this is not the case anymore.  I find myself in unchartered waters as I desperately need a kidney transplant but I have no support system.   Both of my parents are deceased, and I do not have any children or family to support me.   In order for me to begin the transplant process, and my insurance does not cover this expense for me.  

I have to have a support person.  Something I do not have so I am going to need to hire someone to help me through this process.   Also, I am getting overwhelmed with medical bills and general cost of living expenses while I am on dialysis waiting to try and get on a transplant list.   I am no longer be able to work a regular job as this illness requires much rest because of frequent fluctuations in my blood pressure, iron levels and many trips to the hospital.   I also require money for healthy foods as I have been given a special diet and supplements that I must follow in order to regulate my blood pressure as well as stay compliant with my blood work and dialysis that insurance will not cover.  Insurance also will not cover me for a in home support person.  Many days I am so weak that I do not have the strength to get out of bed.    I have been a educator, healer, daughter and friend.
