There is no way to fill the loss in our hearts and lives without our beloved Katie Mac, and so we hope to honor her teaching legacy through several memorial projects. This fund will go to:
1. A garden memorial and plaque at Hedrick Middle School courtyard.
2. A fund to offset rock-climbing lessons for Hedrick Middle School students at Rogue Rock Gym in Medford, Oregon. Students will experience an activity that Katie loved.
3. A bench at Denman Wildlife area, one of Katie's favorite wild places, and her special field trip venue for her classes.
This means the world to our students for their beloved teacher. Honoring Katie's legacy through these things she loved is a way to keep her close in our hearts.
