Tracie is my daughter, and her life has been incredibly difficult lately. Just two weeks after getting a new car, she was involved in an accident. Because of an oversight with her insurance company, they are not covering the accident, and now she is facing expenses she simply cannot afford. As a disabled widow living on a fixed income, every dollar counts, and this unexpected situation has put her in a very tough spot. The car was towed by the authorities, and she is being charged high daily storage fees on top of the tow fee.

The weight of these bills has left Tracie extremely distressed. On top of everything, her Medicaid was cancelled because she earned just a little too much from a part-time job, working only 15 hours a week. This meant she had to cancel an upcoming surgery she really needed. Her daughter is away at college and will be coming home for Christmas, but the stress and uncertainty have made things even harder for both of them.
