Goedge family's cancer battle

6 years ago, Deena was undergoing treatment for breast cancer. She completed her chemo, radiation, multiple surgeries and follow up treatments. Everything had been stable since then, but earlier this summer, Deena started to have some issues with shortness of breath and irregular lab work that landed her back in the hospital. During this hospitalization she had multiple tests, images and a biopsy of her liver. The biopsy revealed that her breast cancer has returned and has metastasized to her liver. She plans to fight to get as much time with her family as she can.  She will have treatment to manage symptoms but there is no curative treatment available at this time. While we all know that our days are numbered, it seems as if Deena's time is going to be shorter than any one was expecting.

We are trying to earn enough money for Eric to be off work, so that the family can spend their remaining time together. Eric and Deena's 3 children, and one grandchild, need this time together as a family, and it would be wonderful to be able to offer some financial relief so that Eric does not have to divide time between family and work at this pivotal time in their lives.
