The enormous damage from Hurricane Helene to the communities of western North Carolina, eastern Tennessee, and southwestern Virginia continues to inflict tremendous hardships on the people and families who call these mountains their home. Of acute concern is the approaching winter and its certain impact on the thousands of people who have poor protection from the elements, some still living in make-shift tarp shelters.
My name is Brandon Arnold, and I am currently on the ground overseeing tree work for Resilient Recovery NC based out of Marion, North Carolina, and covering a ten-county area. I believe that God has called me to this urgent work, and I have elected to “pause” my tree service business at home in Virginia in order to serve. I am seeking supporters to provide finances for machinery, fuel, and related supplies that enable us to respond to the situations we encounter, as well as for funding that will enable me to stay in the field. I am also working to establish a non-profit 501(c)(3) in order to broaden the support for this work by giving donors access to charitable deductions on their taxes.
Thank you for considering being a part of this Team; a Team of people who are committed to demonstrating the love of Jesus to others in great need.
