Hello DSA community and friends! The guy you see in the picture is Elijah, the middle son of our beloved pastor Joel and our piano teacher, Mrs. Dawn. About two weeks ago, Elijah was on his way to a family reunion when the unexpected happened! His car was hit by another vehicle travelling at a high speed, sending it against the guard rail. Just moments after he got out, the engine burst into flames, destroying the whole car. Unfortunately, Elijah didn't carry collision coverage, so he is not getting a replacement vehicle from the insurance company :( Despite this terrible accident, God has spared the lives of both Elijah and the driver of the other car! As a matter of fact, he did not get a single scratch from the accident, which is simply a miracle of Jesus! God's grace and goodness can be clearly seen in the midst of all of this! Elijah, pastor Joel, Mrs. Dawn and their whole family could not be more grateful! We are very thankful Elijah is still around us! We are also so very thankful for this family and their devotion to our community! So, we would like to invite you to participate in this fundraiser to help Elijah buy another car and so he can get back to his normal routine. We are a big family in Christ and, in times of need, we know we can count on each other!
