God’s Grace - Support Dallas Family After Tragedy

On the evening of May 7th around 5 PM, tragedy struck when a sudden electrical fire completely destroyed my parent’s and childhood home. My mother Tracy and step dad Leroy—beloved Dallas natives and longtime members of their community. In a matter of moments, everything they owned was lost.

Tracy was inside the home with their sweet dog Pepper when the fire broke out. By the grace of God, she was able to escape. Leroy, who was in the garage with their other dog Poppa, also made it out safely. Sadly, both of their beloved dogs, Pepper and Poppa, did not survive.

This loss has been not only heartbreaking but also overwhelming. Our home and every possession inside—clothes, memories, essentials—are gone. My parents only have the clothes on their backs. But even in the ashes of this tragedy, we hold tight to faith and community.

Tracy, a faithful member of Concord Church in Oak Cliff, and Leroy have always been the type of people to show up for others. Now, we humbly ask for your support in helping them begin again. Every donation, big or small, will go toward providing shelter, clothing, food, and the many necessities that come with starting over from nothing.
