Healing Hearts: Support Godofredo's Journey

Hello, I'm Destiny! I've created this GoFundMe page to extend a helping hand to my friend Lucy's father, Godofredo.

I first met Lucy a few years ago when I joined Grace Lutheran. Since then, I've witnessed the incredible strength and resilience of her family. Lucy, who moved here from the Philippines, is devoted to supporting her father, Godofredo, who still resides there.

In 2020, Godofredo confronted a daunting setback as a stroke affected the left side of his body. Despite the physical challenges, his unyielding spirit has kept him pressing on. Recent health issues, marked by shortness of breath, have surfaced. When Godofredo went to the hospital in the Philippines, they found out he's facing tough health issues. As a preacher who's always been about serving Our Lord and Savior, spreading positivity, and bringing people together, he's now dealing with pneumonia and a complete heart blockage. Your support means a lot during this challenging time.

Scheduled for surgery on January 29 in the Philippines, Godofredo faces not only the physical ordeal but also the financial burden associated with it. The hospital requires a $2,000 down payment upon his admission, with the remaining balance due on the day of discharge. Our goal is to raise a total of $10,000 to support Godofredo and his family during this challenging time.
