Godalming Biker Collision Fund

Donation protected

On Friday 3rd September, a biker (who we cannot name for legal reasons) was involved in a horrifying collision with a Land Rover; driven by an unlicensed 17-year-old, who went on a rampage after an argument at a pub. The biker was caught up in the mayhem as he innocently rode past the scene.

Video of the rampage and subsequent collision spread across social media and was picked up by national newspapers. The video has shocked everyone, with concern for the rider being at the top of everyone's agenda.

Thankfully the rider escaped with minor injuries, despite the violence of the crash. However, the bike is ruined, clothing and helmet unusable, with legal and healthcare costs a real possibility in the near future.

As fellow members of the biking family, we reached out to the rider's family (who wish to remain anonymous) to discuss our idea to get the young man back to health and back on two wheels. As a result of their acceptance, we are running this fundraiser on their behalf with the entire donation going straight to the young rider.

Thank you.
