God loving American girl needs proper funeral

Like a thief in the night, a beautiful soul was called to heaven. Colleen had won many battles against numerous medical issues in her short life. She fought hard against her battle with covid, asthma, and copd but in the end; they succeeded in taking her young life.

At her home, she left behind her living husband Sean of 17 years. They provided a home for two dogs, a rabbit, and numerous rescue/stray cats. She also left behind her adult son and daughter. Her daughter is expecting her first child who will never have the chance to meet its grandmother.

In the weeks preceding, Colleen was unable to donate plasma like she normally did on a routine basis. She did this to help so many that she never met, and it also provided money to the household. In an effort to take care of her, Sean had to pass up many side jobs which he did to bring money into the house. Otherwise, they made do with his disability check. Sean served in the Marine Corps.

Words can not describe how sweet a person she was. Both her and Sean could be counted on 100% to help anyone in need…friend or stranger. They have paid it forward so many times, now it is their turn to ask and receive help in their time of need.

Like many others faced with an unexpected covid death, Sean is left with bills that had fallen behind during her illness and now a funeral/cremation that he has no money to pay. If you can find it in your heart to help this family, that would be awesome. Donations will foremost go to covering a modest funeral. Anything extra will go towards getting household bills caught up while Sean adjusts.
