God has given us two hands: one to receive and one to give

For many years, I have dedicated my time and resources to supporting the orphanage. It is a cause that is close to my heart because it is in Colombia, the city I grew up in, where I witnessed firsthand the impact that a safe and nurturing environment can have on the girls who call it home. My commitment to this cause has deepened as I’ve seen the resilience and potential in each girl, but I am also extremely aware of the challenges they face.

Recently, I have become increasingly concerned about the conditions of the orphanage's facilities. The state of the installations is alarming. It is an orphanage that is 80 years old and was built on a lagoon. At this time, the entire drainage system needs to be replaced, and water management must be implemented to prevent flooding and the collapse of the walls. The floors are being lifted due to humidity with the ceiling showing signs of serious deterioration and posing safety risks to the girls and staff. A stable and secure environment is essential for their well-being and development, and it is painful to see these basic needs going unmet.

I believe that every child deserves a safe place to grow, learn, and thrive. That’s why I am now motivated to raise funds to help restore and improve the orphanage's facilities. With your support, we can create a safer, more welcoming environment for these children, allowing them to focus on their education and personal growth without the constant worry of their surroundings.

Durante muchos años, he dedicado mi tiempo y recursos a apoyar este orfanato de niñas. Es una causa que me toca profundamente porque se encuentra en Colombia, la ciudad donde crecí, donde fui testigo del impacto que un entorno seguro y acogedor puede tener en las niñas que lo llaman hogar. Mi compromiso con esta causa se ha intensificado al ver la resiliencia y el potencial en cada niña, pero también soy muy consciente de los desafíos que enfrentan.

Recientemente, me he preocupado cada vez más por las condiciones de las instalaciones del hogar. El estado de las instalaciones es alarmante. Es un hogar de niños que tiene 80 años y fue construido sobre una laguna. En este momento, todo el sistema de drenaje necesita ser reemplazado y se debe implementar una gestión del agua para prevenir inundaciones y el colapso de las paredes. Los pisos se están levantando debido a la humedad, y el techo muestra signos de grave deterioro, lo que representa riesgos para la seguridad de las niñas y el personal. Un entorno estable y seguro es esencial para su bienestar y desarrollo, y es doloroso ver que estas necesidades básicas no se están satisfaciendo.

Creo que cada niño merece un lugar seguro para crecer, aprender y prosperar. Por eso, ahora estoy motivado para recaudar fondos que ayuden a restaurar y mejorar las instalaciones del hogar. Con su apoyo, podemos crear un entorno más seguro y acogedor para estos niñas , permitiéndoles concentrarse en su educación y crecimiento personal sin la constante preocupación por su entorno.
