New Life. New Beginnings.
On February 26, 2026, our beloved Loring Banks received a miracle — a life-saving kidney and pancreas transplant that marks the beginning of a brand-new chapter in his life.
For several years, Loring has battled kidney disease and diabetes, facing a reality most people could never imagine. His body was no longer able to do what so many of us take for granted. Without a functioning pancreas, his body could no longer properly produce insulin. Without a functioning kidney, his body could not filter the toxins and impurities that build up in the bloodstream.
To stay alive, Loring had to rely on dialysis treatments for 11 months — treatments that would do the work his kidneys could no longer do. Dialysis is not just an inconvenience; it is exhausting, time-consuming, and life-altering. Hours at a time connected to machines that clean the blood, over and over again, week after week, month after month.
And yet through it all, Loring kept going.
Even while battling illness, fatigue, and uncertainty, he continued to carry the weight of everyday life — supporting his family, showing up for his friends, and handling responsibilities that never stop just because someone is sick. For years, his illness even kept him from being able to live fully in his own home, while the realities of life — bills, obligations, and daily pressures — continued to pile up.
But if you know Loring, you know his faith is not just something he talks about — it is something he lives.
In the middle of hospital visits, treatments, and long days of waiting, he prayed for others. When he was tired, he still showed up. When the road felt uncertain, he trusted God anyway.
Then, on February 26, that faith was met with a miracle — the gift of a double transplant that will allow his body to function in ways it hasn’t for years.
Now begins the long road of recovery, healing, and restoration.
While we are incredibly grateful for this life-saving blessing, the reality is that the financial burden is significant. Between transplant surgery costs, hospital stays, medications, follow-up care, travel, and time away from work, the expenses continue to grow.
This fundraiser is meant to help lift that burden so Loring can focus on what matters most — healing and rebuilding his strength.
Your support will help with:
• Transplant-related medical bills
• Lifelong anti-rejection medications
• Ongoing doctor visits and testing
• Living expenses during recovery
Every donation — no matter the amount — is a blessing. And if you are unable to give financially, your prayers are just as powerful.
Today we “Decree and Declare” healing over Loring’s body, strength over his spirit, and restoration over every area of his life. We believe this transplant is not just a surgery — it is the unfolding of God’s promise.
Thank you for standing with him during this life-changing season.
God Did It. And forever we will say — Our God Reigns.
With gratitude and faith,
The Family of Loring Banks
