Goblin's Surgery
Donation protected
We adopted Goblin a little over 2 years ago. We found a listing for her on Craigslist (immediately saw the word Goblin and we were interested) stating that the home she was in had too many larger animals and it was stressing Goblin out. The owners were asking for a nice quiet home for Goblin to be spoiled in and we did just that.

We originally looked for a cat because Katie was feeling really anxious and homesick after recently moving to LA. Goblin became such a support in our lives and even though we are across the country from our families and separated, Goblin really made us feel like a little family of our own and that we finally had a complete home all together. She brings us so much joy and support, and is a constant loving presence in our lives, especially during this time where we've lost close ones due to COVID.

Goblin is 10 years old and even though she's considered a little old lady, she is like a kitten. She loves to play and every day we'd find out something new about her and her personality that we loved.

For the past 2 weeks, we noticed Goblin's health start to decline. She lost her appetite and wasn't using the litterbox. After going through emergency vets 2 times and trying to treat issues, we took her back and through an ultrasound, the vets found that her intestines were twisted and were causing a blockage. They told us she needed surgery asap and that's where we are at right now. We are hoping for a speedy and safe recovery for our little Gob.
We are willing to do anything for her.
The surgery bill has taken a big chunk from our funds and a few of our friends have expressed wanting to help. We feel awful about asking for anything when so many of our loved ones are going through such hard times right now with everything going on. Please know that we don't expect you to donate, and just knowing you are caring for us and thinking of us and Gobby is enough. We set this up if people would like to help with donating.

Thank you all for the love and support. It means more to us than you'd ever know.
