Cows Goats Chickens & Land to help Rwandan Village
Donation protected
YSU Counseling, Nursing and Social Work service learning trip May, 2023.
I
In rural Rwanda, compared to our standards, villagers have literally nothing. When you look at them, you can see that most of them are wearing shirts that were donated from another country. Their homes are made from bricks that they made themselves out of dirt from the ground. A garden means they can feed themselves vegetables, but they lack sufficient protein to have a healthy diet. A goat means milk and a chicken means eggs; both to eat for protein and sell extras at the market. A plot of land means a space to grow their own food. Please partner with YSU students and faculty to help us buy chickens, goats and a plot of land for the women of the Azizi village while we are in Rwanda in May, 2023.
