Goatfrey aka Chatham Goat
Team Chatham Goat who with the community and police support helped rescue the “Peeping Goat” making local and national news. Goatfrey as we are now calling him escaped from a slaughterhouse and was on the loose in our town for almost a week. He was found daily “peeping” in front and back door windows looking for food and water. A grassroots effort along with the local police and construction workers in town were able to secure our Chatham Goat. Goatfrey is now resting safely at a local farm and he will be assessed for the best local forever home as he heals.
ALL PROCEEDS will go to his Vet care and any additional funds will be donated to the farm or farms for his ongoing care.
Thank you to all Chathamites for your love, support and care.
