GOAP is Growing

Hello, my name is Wendy Golding and I am the founder of GOAP (which stands for Greatest Of All Pops) and The Creamy Spot. My mission is to bring nutritious and delicious plant-based desserts to my community by using locally-sourced ingredients. In an effort to contribute to the local economy and support our community, we intentionally source local black-owned and minority (BIPOC) farms for our fruit. We are also proud to say we make all of our milk substitutes in-house to ensure freshness. We have a passion for creating truly inclusive ice cream treats for those who previously have not been able to enjoy these classic delights.

With new equipment like a more efficient popsicle machine, a commercial ice cream maker, a higher-power blender, a larger freezer, etc. we will be able to; offer more products, and expand. Your donations will also help create jobs here in the West End/Adair Park area and support economic growth within our micro-community. By donating to our fundraiser, you'll be helping us provide more nutritious and delicious options to our customers, while also helping us make a positive impact in the community.

This mission is more than just ice cream treats for me. Firstly, I believe in putting action behind the words 'be the change you seek' and I wanted to create a business that reflects my values. Secondly, I wanted to bring plant-based options to areas where it can be hard to navigate healthier choices. Thirdly, I believe in supporting the very community I live in, which has supported my dream over the last 2 years. I am so grateful for your support, and I truly appreciate your generosity. We are officially opening The Creamy Spot in the West End at La Bodega in The MET on March 25th with a soft launch on February 18th.
