WHY EGYPT?

It's a huge responsibility to be a producer and an MC today. They speak to and stampede with the masses. 
1.) Reveal the African origins of many concepts and symbols used today in the western world.
2.) Record sounds at aincient sites to fuse into Dre-T's music production.
3. Bring home sand and water from the Nile River.
4.) Produce documentary reflecting the essence of Dre-T's journey throughout Egypt.

From sharing stages with Ab-Soul & KRS-One, to making a 2015 debut in Austin, TX as an Official SXSW  Performer. Dre-T  embodies the quality of an exceptional artist. The 22 year old is also a proud father, who has dedicated the past 5 years working with Sacramento Area Youth Speaks & UC Davis as a Poet-Mentor Educator to help guide young people to find their voice through writing.

He is a pioneering artist of Sol Collective 's Indy co-op label, Sol Life ,

and is the founder and coordinator of a youth-operated, creative expression-based, enrichment organizatio, Foreign Native .

$5k is set to be raised to cover all traveling & lodging costs.
