Hello, my name is Rochelle Robinson a mother of two lovely children, Renata Powell and Ricardo Robinson. On July 16, 2016, my family and I experienced one of the greatest joys of our lives, my daughter Renata’s marriage to her soulmate, Donte Powell. It’s such a blessing to see two young people so in love with great aspiration for their future as one in Christ. Two weeks after their loved filled, joyous day with family & friends witnessing their union, Renata received news that she had been diagnosed with Uterine Cancer. As you can imagine, the news of this terrible disease has been terribly heartbreaking to our entire family and friends. Since early in her childhood, Renata has had a presence that radiates love, kindness, caring, and selflessness. Although we’re standing on our Faith and Love for Christ and claiming a total healing over this horrible disease and a healthy recovery for my baby, some days are still extremely tough and very emotional. For ten years of her life, Renata worked as a Care Partner; caring for patients and comforting their families through many illnesses. Renata is loved and respected by many due to the love that she openly shares with all she encounters. There have been an outpouring of love through calls, texts, visits and many, many prayers by family and friends and our hearts overflow with sincere gratitude for the acts of love already received.
Renata and Donte have done a good job at managing and sharing financial obligations but their success has been due to two income resources. During her battle with this cancer, Renata will not be able to work to allow time for surgery, treatment and healing; therefore, my family and I ask that you please join us in making Renata’s heavy journey a little lighter by joining forces with us to raise money to help my amazing, loving and caring daughter.
All donated money will be used to care for medical expenses and financial obligations incurred. In conclusion, I would like to humbly and gratefully thank any and all who took time out of their day, evening or night to read this page and choose to share in the uplifting of my daughter and family with donations and/or prayer during this difficult time. I’d also ask that you share my daughters story with as many as possible. We can never have enough prayers being sent on behalf of our loved one.
