Joe Diaz climbs for U.S. in Italy

My climbing journey began when I was 9 years old and my parents would find me at the top of 70 ft redwood trees. They thought that a class in climbing would make me a little safer.

The great people at our local climbing gym, Granite Arch , taught me to climb with the best in the world so that now, after 9 years and finishing 2nd in the United States, I find myself on the road to Arco, Italy to climb for America in the IFSC World Championships in August 2015.

My challenge now is to try to raise enough money to get there and to perform well for both my gym and my country.
