When I qualified to run in this year’s Boston Marathon I qualified to celebrate the milestone of turning 40. During this time two things happened: my right foot which has a biomechanical issue acted up and caused quite the havoc to my training and my best friend Dana shared with me that she would be giving her daughter Sophia a chance at walking and moving more “normally” with a very intrusive surgery. Sophia is a beautiful 9 year old girl that was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. She is the most amazing kid and never has complain or will complain. I am hoping that friends and family will donate $.50 to a dollar for each mile I actually run at Boston on April 15.  Please consider donating and helping me help out our beautiful friends with some money to help the summer long recovery in Boston’s Children Medical Center easier. As you know parking, meals, hotel stay for the families is not included during this trying time. I appreciate your support.
