Our niece, Nadene Carbullido, is the sweetest, most loving twelve year old you could ever meet. She’s an intelligent girl who works hard in school, loves spending time with her two younger siblings, always willing to lend a helping hand, and is a huge fan of Post Malone.
In March of 2020, this beautiful girl was diagnosed with an incurable kidney disease called Berger’s Disease. She's been through quite a battle already, but there's still more to come.
Nadene’s parents are supportive , caring and extremely hard working people who always put their kids first, they would give the clothes off their backs for anyone in need. Eugene is a receiving leader at a warehouse. Naomi is an assistant RN at a senior home, a career she’s thrived in for years, until recently when she made the decision to quit her job in order to take Nadene to her countless treatment appointments located an hour away.
Nadene has been such a fighter through this whole awful ordeal, but unfortunately, her fight is not over. While initially she was responding well to treatments, the disease has proven stronger than originally thought. We recently found out that our sweet Nadene will be starting dialysis as an in-between until she can receive a kidney transplant.
While this is unquestionably a devastating blow, Nadene, her parents, and family, remain hopeful because we know that God will protect her. They all face a long, difficult journey ahead, that no child (or parent) should ever have to face, and we humbly ask for your help. A couple bucks can go a long way and we'd like help to alleviate some stressers for them. Help us help Nadene and her parents.
