I've heard it my entire life: "You belong in Hollywood!"
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been sharing my talents with the world. My mother put me on a stage to sing for an audience when I was only five years old. In addition to that, I vividly recall my first memory of acting. I was in the sixth grade, and my teacher had our class acting out the Bible story of Jesus and the woman at the well. I was playing ‘the woman’, and I can still feel the vibration of laughter that roared from my classmates and teacher as my acting shifted the role play into a comedy. Even the principal came to see what all the commotion was about. I didn't know then that I would be bold enough to pursue the arts.
My ultimate goal is to pursue fulltime acting, however, a very important part of my plan is to return home, consistently, to host performance programs for the children. I knew what it was like to be young and long for outlets to express myself, and for people to help me prune my gifts. God provided such opportunities and people for me, therefore, I have an obligation to do the same.
I’m one step closer to that goal, but I need your help. I was accepted to the American Academy for Dramatic Arts, where I’m slated to commence studies in January 2021, but, unfortunately, all of my previously arranged sponsors have had to repurpose funding because of the current global pandemic we’re all living through.
With your help, I know I can attain this goal. All of your donations will be used for tuition payments, which are due by December 1st, 2020.
Please help me make this dream a reality. It's not just about me - it's much BIGGER than me!
