As some of you know, my cousin Brock was in a bad dirt bike/ four wheeler accident the Sunday before Thanksgiving. He got a bad concussion, broke his cheek bone, orbital bone (eye socket) in three different places, his tooth went through his lip, broke off and the rest of his tooth got shoved up in his gums, he broke four ribs and had internal bleeding. They kept him for observation Sunday night and did more tests early Monday morning. Brock’s stomach then started filling with fluid and getting hard so, they had to go in and do emergency surgery Monday morning. While doing surgery they found that he had a ruptured blood vessel in his stomach, his intestines were ripped and he had a tear in his colon. They repaired the blood vessel and torn colon. This resulting in Brock having to stay in the hospital for a week.
Kira and Brock just welcomed their first child, Kinsley on October 30th. Kira is still on maternity leave until January because she had to have an unplanned c-section. So now with both of them out of work with no income coming in, their everyday bills plus medical bills are piling up and are going to be very hard to afford for the time being.
