I have created this Go Fund Me account for the teenaged daughter of my friend, Jennifer Panici-Planellas.

Rebekah, 16, was recently diagnosed with a childhood Cancer called Burkitts Lymphoma. Burkitts Lymphoma is a Cancer of the Lymphatic system .

Her aggressive treatment will consist of (9) months of chemotherapy. Rebekah will stay five days in the hospital for her Chemo treatments EVERY 21 days! In between that time, she will need to go to the clinic twice a week on the weeks that she isn’t in the hospital for blood work and other tests. She will lose her hair.  If the tumor does not decrease in size by 20%, the doctors will have to surgically remove it.

This is a tremendous shock for Jennifer and Rebekah’s Family and friends. What started out as a routine doctor visit, turned into every Mother’s worse fear.

Jennifer will have to take a leave of absence from work to be right next to her daughter through this difficult journey. All donations  will be given directly to Jennifer  and Rebekah to help cover costs of hospital bills, medications, chemo treatments, travel , food and any necessary costs.

I thank you in advance for any donations you can give at this trying time. I am also asking for prayers to be said  in Rebekah’s name for a full recovery! She is supposed to be starting her Senior year at Options for Youth in Victorville and plans to attend the University of New Mexico. She loves skateboarding, reading and is a talented artist.
