Help Maggie Fight CRPS and Reclaim Her Life!

Family and Friends:
This GoFundMe is being sent out to support Rob and Lacey Potoshnik’s bright, beautiful, and resilient daughter, Maggie (age 17), who has been battling a debilitating condition called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) for over 3 years. This syndrome causes unbearable pain, which has gotten progressively worse, and has stripped Maggie’s ability to live the life she deserves. After local treatments and therapies have not relieved the pain, they have found hope in treatment at the Spero Clinic in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The Spero Clinic is renowned for its success in treating CRPS (which only affects about 26 of 100,000 people per year) and other complex neurological conditions. Their rehabilitation approach has saved many lives, but the program is intensive, long term, and expensive.
Maggie is determined to fight for her health, but the costs are overwhelming. Between treatment expenses, travel, lodging, and Lacey's time away from caring for their family of 7 (she will be alongside her daughter all the way), the financial burden is more than the family can manage alone. That’s why we’re reaching out for your support. Treatment began February 10th and they are already finding hope again. The family’s insurance does not cover most of the holistic treatments. There will be an exuberant balance due out of pocket with some covered at a small percentage out-of-network at best.
We’ve set a goal of $70k for anticipated out of pocket expenses to cover Maggie’s journey to recovery, and Lacey’s support role. Every donation, regardless of amount, will go directly toward:
-Treatment Costs at the Spero Clinic (www.thesperoclinic.com)
-Travel and Lodging Expenses for the duration of the 3-4 month stay
-Living Costs during their time away from home
After faith & family, Maggie's heart lives for softball. She dreams of competing long after graduation. Your support of any size will help give Maggie the chance to reclaim her health, independence, and future.
If you are unable to donate, we understand. Praying for this family & sharing this campaign with your network would mean so much and could make a huge difference.
Thank you for standing with Maggie on her journey to healing. Together, we can help her find relief, hope, and the life she so desperately deserves.
