Go Fund Me Campaign for Scott Lapham
Donation protected
This campaign is to help a steadfast community cheerleader and all around amazing human Scott Lapham after a hit and run car accident last month. Scott thankfully walked away with minor injuries, but the car he depends on for work was completely totaled.
Like many other gig/freelance workers, the pandemic has resulted in Scott losing ⅔ of his income. So far he has not been able to qualify for unemployment benefits.
Unfortunately due to red-tape with the insurance company, it is unclear when or if he will receive any funds toward replacement of the car. He is simultaneously facing some imminent costly home repairs. This unexpected financial hit has overwhelmed an already tight budget.
As an artist teacher and mentor, for decades Scott has focused his energies on working with incarcerated and underserved youth, helping them to gain job experience, get into college and qualify for scholarships. He often donates his own art and talent to help non-profit organizations.
Scott is humble. He is used to being a giver. Asking for help is completely outside of his comfort zone, which is why his friends and family are organizing this effort on his behalf. Giving to this campaign will directly help someone who has devoted his life to helping others achieve their greatness and would be so appreciated.
Thank you so very much for your help because we know how difficult things are for everyone.
