If you've ever shared a moment with Mathew Gonzalez, consider yourself fortunate. Chances are, Mat (being Mat) found a way to make it memorable and you relished the encounter of a soul so gracious, talented and brimming with hospitality that you remembered that name... GONZO!

Fortune strikes both directions truth be told, and misfortune has indeed struck our dear friend Gonzo.

This past Thanksgiving he was hospitalized for weeks with a diagnosis of severe and life threatening pancreatitis. Unable to consume food for multiple months he ended up shockingly malnourished and eventually underwent many invasive and expensive procedures barring him from work, employment and a paycheck. Struggling to stay afloat and claw his way back to health, its time for us to step in, pony up and take care of our brother.)

We know Gonzo as a giver, by way of food, music and friendship he's the guy with the supply. It's now imperative that we give back, for every brisket slice, melody and shoulder he has bestowed upon us.. his friends and family.

Let's show Mat that he can count on us just as we count one him!
