Alfa first saw me heavily pregnant on Kent Avenue, back in 2008. She decided that one day she'd babysit that kid. And sure enough she took care of Atlas, she cleaned my house and countless other units on 475 Kent. She always brought with her a gigantic good cheer and became part of our extended family.
As for many people, COVID has been devastating for Alfa and as I try to help her drum up business, I'd like for those who are far away to be able to give a hand too. She needs to pay her (modest) rent and utilities bills until she can go back to her usual level of house cleaning business.

Alfa picked up your dirty laundry and cleaned your dishes although you couldn't understand her, right? If you did understand her, dir she tell you her story? Weren't you just happy to catch an elevator with her?
