Welcome to Go Ahead and Sue Month! Fundraising for The Good Law Project, Transgender Law Center and Client Earth.
June is fundraising month at MacGuffin and Co and this year, we're supporting three fantastic legal charities. Just laws are no good unless everyone has access to the legal system, and these organisations work to make sure legal protections for people and the environment are actually applied - as well as campaigning for new, better laws to be passed.
What are we doing?
As well as donating everything we make through our Itch store for the month, we'll be running a marathon 8-hour stream on Saturday 26th June from 6pm-2am BST on our Twitch page!

The Good Law Project is a UK charity who defend, define and change the law to uphold democracy, protect the environment and ensure no one is left behind. Some of their recent work includes fighting against the Tory government's mishandling of public funds, extracting £1.5billion of unpaid tax from Uber, and challenging the huge waiting times young trans people face for treatment from the NHS. Transgender Law Center is the largest national trans-led organization advocating self-determination for all people in the US. Grounded in legal expertise and committed to racial justice, they employ a variety of community-driven strategies to keep transgender and gender nonconforming people alive, thriving, and fighting for liberation. As well as challenging the legal system in the courts, they have a legal helpdesk, offer guidance and resources to individuals, and operate community-led programs for some of the most marginalised parts of the trans community. Client Earth are an international environmental charity who use the power of law to change the system for a brighter, healthier future. They currently have 169 active cases across 50+ countries, tackling the most pressing environmental challenges. They work with campaigners around the world to hold governments and businesses to account on behalf of the environment, changing laws, giving legal support and advice and taking cases to courts all the way up to the UN.
