Hi, in the pictures there is a Gazaen family: Mahmoud, Aseel, Eva and Oday

They grew up in Gaza, born and raised. Never have they thought about leaving Gaza, not before this war.

A fast glance of who we are:

Mahmoud is the oldest (21 years old) , he’s a dentist student in his third year of university. He’s the calmest yet kindest one. He learned how to play “oud” since he was 10, and playing “oud” is his passion. He’s looking forward to a safe place, so he can continue his studies, and make more music.

Aseel is the oldest sister (20 years old) , she’s a medical student in her third year of university. She’s the most responsible one. She dreams of a college degree that will able her to start her career, and to help others, by doing the thing she loves the most. She adores animals in general, but the closest one to her heart is our cat “soul”, who she managed, hardly, to keep him safe through the war and the constant bombs.

Eva is the youngest sister (18 years old) , she’s a first year dentists student. She was so excited to start university as a normal student, but not for too long, because the war stole from her the right to be normal. She’s a literature lover, and a writer. She writes for freedom and justice, even when she’s not feeling free nor justified. She’s the bravest one. She uses her voice to defend what’s right.

Oday is the youngest (16 years old). He’s the worm book and the smartest one in his school. he’s using his high school years to achieve his dream of getting high knowledge in everything. He wants to be a physicist theorist more than anything. His teachers and classmates predict a bright future for him.

Our parents worked hard to get us in the place we’re in now, and they are still doing their best to guarantee us a safe future we can achieve our dreams and goals in.

In October the 10th, our house got bombed, and from October the 10th to this moment, we are using shelter places and family/ friends houses to have a roof over our heads.

Your funding us, even with the lowest amount, is a way to make things easier for us, so we can evacuate Gaza.

Every dollar we’re receiving is a one step away from death.

نظرة سريعة على هويتنا :

محمود هو الأكبر سناً (21 عاما)، وهو طالب طب أسنان في سنته الثالثة من الجامعة. إنه الأكثر هدوءاً والألطف. تعلم كيفية العزف على "العود" منذ أن كان في العاشرة من عمره، وعزف"العود" هو شغفه. إنه يتطلع إلى مكان آمن، حتى يتمكن من مواصلة دراسته، وصنع المزيد من الموسيقى.

أسيل هي الأخت الكبرى (20 عاما)، وهي طالبة طب بشري في سنتها الثالثة من الجامعة. إنها الأكثر تحملاً للمسؤولية. تحلم بشهادة جامعية تمكنها من بدء حياتها المهنية، ومساعدة الآخرين، من خلال القيام بالشيء الذي تحبه. تحب الحيوانات بشكل عام، ولكن الأقرب إلى قلبها هو "صول" قطتنا، التي تمكنت أسيل بالكاد من إبقائه آمناً خلال الحرب والقنابل المستمرة.

إيڤا هي الأخت الصغرى (18 عاما)، وهي طالبة في السنة الأولى من طب الأسنان. كانت متحمسة لبدء الجامعة كطالبة عادية، ولكن ليس لفترة طويلة، لأن الحرب سرقت منها الحق في أن تكون طبيعية. هي من محبي الأدب، وكاتبة. تكتب من أجل الحرية والعدالة، حتى عندما لا تشعر بالحرية. إنها الأكثر شجاعة. تستخدم صوتها دائماً للدفاع عما هو صحيح.

عدي هو الأصغر سناً (16 عاما). قارئ نهم والأذكى في مدرسته. يستغل سنوات دراسته الثانوية لتحقيق حلمه في الحصول على معرفة عالية في كل مجال. يرغب بأن يصبح عالم نظريات فيزيائي بشدة. يتنبأ معلموه وزملاؤه في الفصل بمستقبل مشرق له.

عمل آباؤنا بجد للوصول بنا إلى المكان الذي نحن فيه الآن، وما زالوا يبذلون قصارى جهدهم لضمان مستقبل آمن يمكننا تحقيق أحلامنا وأهدافنا فيه.

في 10 أكتوبر، تم قصف منزلنا، ومن 10 أكتوبر حتى هذه اللحظة، نستخدم أماكن النزوح والخيم ومنازل العائلة/الأصدقاء للحصول على سقف فوق رؤوسنا.

تمويلك لنا، حتى بأقل مبلغ، هو وسيلة لتسهيل الأمور بالنسبة لنا، حتى نتمكن من مغادرة غزة بحثاً عن مكان أكثر أماناً.

كل دولار نتلقاه يبعدنا خطوة واحدة عن الموت.
