Hello everyone, Craig here. I'm asking for some help. As some of you know, this has been a very difficult year for me. I've had to undergo several surgeries. I was diagnosed with stage 4 oral cancer. Thanks to some wonderful Dr.'s I was able to beat it so far. I had to have 1/2 of my lower jaw on the right side removed as well as the majority of the left side of my tongue. In the process I have lost most of my teeth and due to almost all of the bone loss on my upper jaw I am unable to wear my denture. The only option I have is to have an implant done where rods are used to replace the bone and an implant will lock into the rods. Luckily I was able to get insurance to cover 75% of the cost. The unfortunate part is I have to pay for the rest out of pocket. I was reluctant to ask for help, and if there were any other way I would have taken that path. Being on permanent disability has caused a very limited income, so I don't qualify for a loan. Asking for help is a difficult thing for me to do, because if as most of you know me, I do everything I can on my own. I know this is a hard time of year with the holidays upon us. But if you can find it in your heart to help me, even with just a few dollars, I would be eternally grateful. Thank you for reading my story and I wish everyone the very best holiday season and a great new year.
