My Father's Funeral

Thursday night on the 9th of January I came to my father's house and found him lying on the floor. His heart wasn't beating, he wasn't breathing, and his skin was blue. I called 911 and was coached through CPR and did the best I could to save him. The paramedics came and it took them 20 minutes of CPR to get his pulse stable. The ambulance rushed him to the hospital, and ever since that night, it has been a constant battle to keep him stable and alive. His body was working, however his brain was swelling and there was no blood flow to his brain. He was officially declared brain dead today, January 15th, and later tonight he was unhooked from his life support and he now passed. Me, my mom, his dad, and his brothers are trying to raise money for the proper Jewish funeral my dad always wanted after he passed. He lived to 47, and his life was cut too short due to his depression and his poor habits these past few months. That did not stop him from being the best father anybody could ever ask for. He was the hardest worker I ever knew and he gave everything that he had to his family. We are all reaching out and asking anybody... if anybody at all could help us lay his loving soul to rest the way he wanted. 

I live with my mom and we are trying our best in supporting ourselves and my little almost 3 year old brother. We cannot pay for his funeral ourselves or we will lose everything. 

This is for you, dad, and best friend. I'm sorry I did not give you enough support. I love you so much. May your beautiful soul rest in peace.
