One is never prepared to lose a parent especially so suddenly. On March 14, 2016, Alex Lavilla was rushed to the hospital by paramedics after his sister ,Teresa, called 911. The paramedics initiated resuscitation at the field and heroic measures were continued by the hospital staff for almost two hours. Unfortunately, Alex did not make it through the ordeal and is now with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I am fortunate to have my friends and family by my side throughout this difficult time. One thing for sure is that I can count on my family's love and support throughout the best and the worst of times. Any monetary contribution to help pay for the funeral expenses are greatly appreciated by the Lavilla family.
