GNR for the great North air ambulance
This year, I’m taking on the challenge of the Great North Run to raise vital funds for the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS). As I lace up my running shoes and prepare to tackle the world’s largest half marathon, I’m driven by a purpose greater than just crossing the finish line—I’m running to support the life-saving work of GNAAS.
Although I have never personally had to use them, they have saved countless people from every type of accident you can imagine.
GNAAS operates three helicopters across the North East, North Yorkshire, and Cumbria, delivering critical care directly to those who need it most. Whether it's a remote rural area or a busy urban street, GNAAS’s highly skilled medical teams are ready to respond at a moment’s notice, providing advanced care that can mean the difference between life and death.
This incredible service is entirely funded by donations, and that’s where you come in. By sponsoring my run, you’ll be helping to keep the helicopters in the sky and the medical crews on the front lines, ensuring that GNAAS can continue to save lives across our region.
Every mile I run will be powered by your generosity and belief in this vital cause. Please consider making a donation, no matter how big or small, to help GNAAS continue their incredible work. Together, we can make a real difference.
What an incredible charity, one that really does do life changing things.
Thank you for your support!
